Old synonym:
Pseudomonas sp. strain E3.

Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.9 x 1.2-2.8 µm. Motile by one polar flagellum.
Colonies are circular and colorless. A fluorescent pigment is produced on King B agar.
Growth occurs in media supplemented with 0%-4% NaCl but not in 8% NaCl. Growth
occurs at -1 to 35 ºC, but no growth is observed at 40 ºC or higher. The optimum growth
temperature of the strain was 25 ºC.  Aerobic.
Isolated from a cold room for food storage, in Japan.
Undetermined.
