Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative, rods. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming. Poly-beta-hydroxybutyrate is not
accumulated.
Colonies on Luria-Bertani agar are creamy, circular, convex, smooth and 0.5-1.5 mm
in diameter after incubation for 3 days at 37 ºC. Grows at 4-45 ºC (optimum 37 ºC),
1-3% (w/v) NaCl (optimum 1%, w/v).
Isolated from the storage liquid in the stems of Populus euphratica trees in Xinjiang, China.
Undetermined.
