Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.8 x 1.0-2.0 µm. Motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on LA (Luria broth agar) are circular, convex in shape with a creamy colour
and usually 1-2 mm in diameter after growth for 2 days at 30 ºC. Grows at 4–40 ºC
and in the presence of 1.0-7.0 % (w/v) NaCl. Produce fluorescent pigment on King’s B
agar at 30 ºC. Aerobic.
Isolated from a sputum and urine samples in Japan and Myanmar.
Undetermined.
