Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-1.0 x 2.0-2.5 µm. Motile by one or two polar flagella.
Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on BHI agar after 24 h of incubation at 30 ºC are round, convex, smooth,
with entire margins and approximately 1.0-4.0 mm in diameter. Growth occurs at
temperature range 4-37 ºC, at pH 6-9 and in 0-2 % (w/v) NaCl. Fluorescent pigment
produced. Aerobic.
Isolated from the wastewater treatment plant at West China Hospital in Chengdu, PR China.
Undetermined.
