Positive results for DNase, esculin hydrolysis, lecithinase activity, acid production
from N-acetylglucosamine, esculin, glucose, fructose, maltose, mannose, and
trehalose.
Can assimilate glucose, fructose, D-mannose, inositol, N-acetylglucosamine,
esculin, maltose, trehalose, and D-gluconate.
Negative results for citrate utilization (Simmons) acid production from inositol,
ribose, and sorbitol.
No assimilation of ribose.
