Gram-negative, small rods. Swarm with periodic cycles of migration producing
concentric zones at
37 ºC over 24 h.
Colonies are translucenct, neat-edged and the range of the growth temperature is 10–
45
ºC after 24-48 h, the optimum temperature is 37 ºC. The range of the tolerance of
NaCl is 0-8 % (optimum, 1%, w/v).
Isolated from the flesh of a pigeon in Ma’anshan, Anhui province, China.
sensitive to gentamicin, ceftriaxone, kanamycin, sulfisoxazole, cefoxitin, cefepime, ciprofloxacin, streptomycin, sulfamethoxazole,
nalidixic acid, doxycycline and chloramphenicol. Resistant to azithromycin and ampicillin.
Undetermined.
