Gram-negative rods.
Grows at 37 ºC and tolerates medium salinity up to 4% NaCl. Pectinolytic, producing
pits on crystal violet pectate (CVP) medium.
Isolated groundwater from a vegetable field in Poland.
Sensitive to ampicillin, tetracycline, gentamicin, kanamycin, streptomycin and erythromycin. Resistant to 1 % sodium lactate, rifamycin
SV, troleandomycin, lincomycin, guanidine HCl, niaproof 4, vancomycin, tetrazolium violet, tetrazolium blue, potassium tellurite and
sodium butyrate.
Undetermined.
