Gram-negative rods. Motile.
Can grow at 37 and 39 ºC. Grows on lysogeny broth agar with 5% (w/v) NaCl.
Isolated from potato tuber (Solanum tuberosum cv. Polaris ) in Norway, aerial stem in China and Pakistan.
Causes soft rot on potato tubers and aerial stem rot.

glycogen, gluconate, inulin, L-arabitol, L-fucose, D-lyxose, maltose, methyl alpha-D-glucopyranoside, methyl
alpha-D-mannopyranoside, melezitose, malonate, L-ornithine, palatinose, sodium pyruvate, L-sorbose, D-sorbitol, starch,
