Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.7 x 1.5 μm. Motile. Non-spore-forming. Poly-beta-hydroxybutyric
acid is accumulated.
Colonies after 2 days of incubation on TSA plates are cream coloured, smooth, low
convex, 1-2 mm in diameter. Growth occurs at 30 and 42 ºC. No growth in 3 or 4.5%
(w/v) NaCl nutrient broth. Aerobic.
Isolated from chicken feces after enrichment with potassium oxalate in mineral medium.
Undetermined.
