Gram-negative rods. Non-spore-forming. Motility is strain dependent.
Colonies are mucoid, non-pigmented and non-haemolytic. Grows on Columbia
sheep blood agar, B. cepacia Selective agar, Yeast Extract Mannitol agar and
MacConkey agar. can grow at 42 ºC.
Isolated from haemodialysis water and soil in Argentina.
