Gram-positive rods. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are white, 1.0-2.0 mm in diameter after 2 days of anaerobic incubation on
MRS agar. Can grow at 30-40 ºC, not at 25 or 45 ºC. Grows at pH 4.5- 6.0, optimally at
pH 6.0. Can grow under aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
Isolated from the stool sample of a Golden-Headed Lion Tamarin (Leontopithecus chrysomelas).
