Gram-positive, small rods. Non-spore-forming. Non-motile.
Colonies are white, 1.0-2.5 mm in diameter on MRS agar after 48 h of anaerobic
incubation at 37 ºC. Grows at temperature 30-42 ºC (optimum 37 ºC, variable growth
at 25 ºC), pH 3.5-6.0 (optimum pH 6.0). Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from the stool sample of a domestic goose (Anser domestica).
