Gram-positive straight to slightly curved rods, some with branching. Non-motile.
Non-spore-forming. Not acid fast.
Non-haemolytic. CAMP reaction is weak. Facultative anaerobic. Grows in BHI at 37 ºC.
Microaerophilic.
Isolated from human blood and urine.
