Gram-positive irregular rods, 1.0-1.5 / 2.0-10.0 µm. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are white-greyish, 1 mm in diameter after 72 h incubation on sheep blood
agar at 35 ºC in air plus 5% CO2. Weak haemolysis under microaerobic conditions.
Microaerophilic. CAMP-like reaction and reverse CAMP reaction are positive.
Isolated from dog oral cavity.

Positive results for alkaline phosphatase, catalase, DNase, beta-galactosidase, alpha- and beta-glucosidase,
N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase, alpha-mannosidase, acid production from: D-glucose, lactose, maltose and sucrose.
Negative results for gelatin hydrolysis, beta-glucuronidase, hyaluronidase, nitrate reduction, oxidase, pyrazinamidase, pyrrolidonyl
arylamidase, urease, Voges-Proskauer test, acid production from: mannitol, ribose and xylose.
