Gram-positive rods. No cording, spores or filaments producing.
Colonies after 5-7 days at 25-28 ºC, pH 7.0, on 1.5 % NaCl TSA medium are
orange-red, rough and non-chromogenic.. Grows on TSA medium with 4.0% NaCl,
pH 6.0-8.0, at 5-37 ºC.
Undetermined.
Isolated from a sand sample collected from the South China Sea at a depth of 42 m.
