30 ºC and in 4 days at 25 ºC and 37 ºC on Middelbrook 7H11 and TSA media. No
growth at 42 ºC. The optimal temperature for growth is 30 ºC. Grows in the presence
of 10% CO2.

Positive results for catalase (22 ºC and 65 ºC), arylsulfatase (3 days), nitrate
reduction, Tweens 80 hydrolysis, and urease.
Negative results for niacin production and iron uptake.
