Gram-positive rods, 1 / 1-2 µm, occurring singly. Non-spore-forming. Non-motile.
Colonies are beige, convex, smooth with entire margins, 1-1.5 mm in diameter after 3
days at 30 ºC on mMRS agar. Facultative anaerobe. Grows at temperature range
15-37 ºC (optimally at 30 ºC). Can grow at pH 5.0-10.0. No growth in 5.0% NaCl
