Gram-positive rods, 0.5-0.7 x 3.5-5.5 µm, occurring singly or in pairs. Non-motile.
Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are smooth, beige, convex, 2-2.5 mm in diameter after 2 days of anaerobic
incubation at 37 ºC on MRS agar. Can grow at 15-50 ºC, optimum at 37 ºC. Can grow
in 0-0.5% NaCl. Grows at pH 5.0-11.0, optimum at pH 7.0. Facultative anaerobic.
Isolated from small intestine of a 6-month-old female swine, Korea.
Undetermined.
