Gram-positive thin rods with square ends, 0.47 / 1.19 µm, occurring singly or in
chains. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are shiny, smooth, maximum 0.5 mm in diameter after 2 days at 37 ºC on
MRS agar under 5% CO2. Grows at 30-45 ºC (optimum 37-45 ºC), pH 4-8 (optimum
pH 5-8), and NaCl 0-3%. Facultative anaerobic.
