Gram-positive rods, 0.5-1.0 x 2-15 µm, occurring singly or in pairs. Non-motile.
Colonies are beige, slightly rough, slightly irregular, 0.5-2.0 mm in diameter after 24 h
of aerobic incubation at 30 ºC on MRS5 agar containing cycloheximide 0.1 g/l. Grows
at 15-45 ºC, and NaCl 0-7%. Facultative anaerobic.
Isolated from an artisan wheat sourdough, Belgium.
