larvae
Bang et al. 2016.
Gram-positive long rods, 1.0-1.5 x 4.0-8.0 µm.  Nonspore-forming. Nonmotile.
Colonies are convex, circular, creamy white, 1-2 mm diameter after 3 days incubation
on TSA at 37 ºC. Facultatively anaerobic. Growth occurs with 0-3 % (w/v) NaCl
(optimum 0.5 %), at pH 6-9 (optimum pH 8) and at 20-40 ºC (optimum 37 ºC).
Isolated from larval midgut of rhinoceros beetle (Trypoxylus dichotomus) in South Korea.
Undetermined.
