from: amygdalin, L-arabinose, glucose, inositol, mannitol, sorbitol, salicin and sucrose.
Negative results for gelatinase, H2S production, oxidase, Voges-Proskauer test (weakly positive after 3 days incubation), acid
production from: melibiose and L-rhamnose.
