Gibbsiella greigii
Brady et al. 2015.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.7 x 1.0-1.6 µm, occuring singly or in pairs. Non-motile.
Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on nutrient agar are cream, round, convex and smooth with entire margins.
Growth occurs at temperatures between 10 and 40 ºC, 0-5 % (w/v) NaCl and pH
4.5-8.5. Optimal growth at 28 ºC.  Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from Quercus kelloggii in California, United States of America.
Isolated from a black oak tree (Quercus kelloggii) exhibiting Acute Oak Decline symptoms.
