Enterobacter soli Manter et al. 2011.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5 x 1.5-2.0 µm. Motile.
Colonies are circular, raised, entire, and cream in color. Younger colonies are more
translucent and older colonies more opaque. Well isolated colonies, up to 3 mm in
size, are produced after 3 days growth on NWRI agar at 28 ºC. Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from soil collected in the Tambopata National Reserve in Madre de Dios, Peru.
Possesses the ability to degrade kraft lignin.
Undetermined.
