Synonym: "Serratia multitudinisentens" Lim et al. 2015.
Gram-negative rods, 3-4 x 7.5-9 μm. Motile.
Non-pigmented. Growth occurs in Luria Bertani media at an optimum temperature of
28 ºC, pH 5.0-8.0 and with 1% (w/v) NaCl. Temperature range for growth is 20-37 ºC.
Not growing in the presence of 9% (w/v) NaCl or higher. Aerobic.
Isolated from an ex-landfill site located in Puchong, Malaysia.
Undetermined.
