vaginalis Chang, Rhee and Kim, 2016.
Gram-positive short rods, 0.6-0.8 / 0.9-1.1 µm. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Mycolic acids are not present.
Colonies are creamy- white, low-convex, 1-2 mm in diameter on DSM 92 agar at 37 ºC
after 2 days of incubation. CAMP test is negative. Facultative anaerobic. Grows at 37
ºC, optimum. Can grow in 0-8% NaCl media, 0.5% NaCl optimum; pH 7 optimum.
Isolated from human vaginal fluid.
Undetermined.
