Gram-positive. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are white, 1.0-2.5 mm in diameter on MRS agar. Can grow at 20 and 40 ºC,
not at 45 ºC. Grows at pH 4.0-6.0. Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from a stool sample of a Goeldi’s marmoset (Callimico goeldii).

D-xylose.
