Gram-positive slightly irregular rods of variable sizes, 0,3-0.8/1.5-6 µm long.
Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are creamy white, glossy, round, disc-shaped in profile, soft, large, 1.4-2.8
mm in diameter after 72 h anaerobic incubation at 37 ºC on TPY agar. Optimum
growth temperature 37 ºC; range 10-49 ºC. Grows at pH 3.7-7.5 (optimum pH 6.5).
Strictly anaerobic.
Isolated from the large intestine content of a wild boar, Czech Republic.
