Description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative, motile by peritrichous flagella, straight  rods, 0.75-1.2 x 1.8-4.6 μm.
Spore is swelling the sporangium.
Colonies are greyish, smooth, shiny and up to 5 mm in diameter after 24 hours on
sheep-blood agar. Aerobic and anaerobic growth. Optimum growth temperature
30-37 ºC. Can grow in 5% NaCl.
Isolated from a human urine sample. Sensitive to amoxicillin, gentamicin, trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole, rifampicine, vancomycin,
fusidic acid & teicoplanin. Resistant to oxacilin, fosfomycin, clindamycin & pristinamycin.
Isolated from a human urine sample.
