Gram-negative rods.
Grows on blood agar. No growth on cetrimide agar. Can grow in 3% NaCl, but not in
4.5% NaCl. Positive growth on acetamide. Growth occurs at 37 ºC.
Isolated from sludge and human sputum (some from patients with cystic fibrosis).
