Pseudomonas proteolytica
 Reddy et al. 2004.
Gram-negative rods, motile by a polar flagellum.
On solid medium: circular, convex, smooth and translucent colonies with a diameter
of 1-2 mm. Aerobic, psychrophilic: growth temperature 4-30 ºC (optimum 22 ºC), 48h.
Can tolerate 3% NaCl (w/v). Optimum pH = 7.
Grows on Antarctic Bacterial Medium (0.5% peptone, 0.2% yeast extract and 1.5%
agar at pH 6.9), MacConkey agar.
Isolated from cyanobacterial mat samples (water)  that were collected from Antarctica.
Unknown.
