Colonies are circular, yellow, smooth, entire and approximately 1-2 mm diameter on
Columbia blood agar after 24 h incubation at 37 ºC. Non-hemolytic. No growth occurs
on MacConkey agar or Thayer-Martin agar. Can grow in 3% (w/v) NaCl. Facultatively
anaerobic.

Can assimilate arabinose, glucose, gluconate, mannitol & malate.
