Colonies are colourless to white, raised, round and smooth with entire edges, 1.1-2.0
mm in diameter after 48 h of incubation at 25 ºC on R2A agar . Facultatively anaerobic.
Mesophilic; grows at 15-37 ºC (optimum 25 ºC). Grows at pH 6.0-8.0 (optimum at pH
7.0). NaCl is not required for growth (maximum tolerance 1%, optimum 0.5% NaCl).
Grows well on Nutrient agar, Trypticase Soy agar, R2A agar and LB agar.
