Colonies on R2A agar after 72 h incubation at 20 ºC are milky white, circular and
slightly convex with entire edges, 1.0–2.0 mm in diameter. Strictly aerobic. Growth
occurs at 10-35 ºC (optimum 20 ºC), at pH 6.0-8.0 (optimum pH 7) and with 0-1%
NaCl (optimum 0% NaCl).
