Synonym: Achromobacter genogroup 14.
Gram-negative rods.
Grows on blood agar, trypto casein soja agar and cetrimide agar. Can grow in 3%
NaCl, but not in  4.5% NaCl. No growth on acetamide. Growth occurs at 37 ºC.
Isolated from human sputum (some from patients with cystic fibrosis).
